Cutting the Cake
Towards the end of the meal the Bestman will announce the cutting of the cake. The Groom lays his hands over the Bride's and together they make the first cut. Give guests time to take photographs. The cake will then be cut into small portions and distributed with coffee.
Toasts and Speeches
After the Wedding Reception come the toasts and speeches. Try to keep them brief, too many are long and rambling, when they should be short and to the point. The reading of countless telegrams can also make guests uncomfortable and fidgety.
