The National Aquatic Centre

 

The National Aquatic centre is located in Blanchardstown, in North-West Dublin. This Dublin centre is an amazing water park with an Olympic-standard competition arena and lots of adventurous water features. There's a children's pool with mini-slides to play on, a giant waterslide called the Dark Hole Ride as you are in complete darkness as you slide towards the water! The Master-Blaster is a favourite amongst children and is a roller coaster that propels kids upwards on a jet of water.

Lambert Puppet Theatre

 

The Lambert Puppet Theatre is a real Dublin institution popular with kids and adults alike. It was established by Eugene Lambert over thirty years ago and now hosts performances every Saturday and Sunday afternoons. The Puppet Theatre also plays host to visiting puppet companies as well as the annual event The International Puppet Festival. It is located in Monkstown.

Viking Splash Tours

 

The Viking Splash Tour is a fun and unique way to see Dublin by land and by water. During the tour, the costumed Viking Captains will explain all about how the Vikings first settled in Dublin over 1000 years ago. The highlight of the Tour is when the Viking Captain drives the Viking Splash Vehicle into the waters of the historic Grand Canal Basin.

Viking Splash Tours are suitable for all the family, young and old and the entire tour lasts one hour and fifteen minutes. There are two departure points, one at Bull Alley Street beside gardens of St. Patrick's Cathedral and also from Stephen's Green North.

E.N.R.G. (Experiments-Nature-Rainforest-Galaxy)

 

E.N.R.G. is a new centre with fun-filled activities for kids in Dublin. This adventure centre is a four level play zone bringing children on different adventures in the Experiments zone, Nature area, Galaxy and Rainforest areas. E.N.R.G also known as Eduplay has an educational dimension so that kids are learning throughout their amazing journey.
