Express Coach 747 & 748  

When exiting the main terminal at Dublin Airport on the Arrivals Level, turn left where you will see the bus pick up point. The buses will be clearly marked with the numbers above. The cost is 6.50 Euro per person, the travelling time is 25 minutes. The 748 drops at Connolly Station stop which is across the road from the North Star Hotel. The 747 drops at Bus Aras(Central Bus Station) which is 3 minutes walk up the road. Runs every 25 mins. Wheelchair Accessible Service.

Public Bus 41, 41a, 41c, 33  

You will pick these up at the same area as above, but please be sure that the bus is marked City Centre or An Lar (Irish) otherwise they are going out-bound and you'll have a long trip to get back to the city centre. The cost is 2.20 Euro and travelling time is 40 minutes. You should get off the bus at Lower Abbey Street, then walk 10 minutes to the hotel; your landmark is Connolly Station. Runs every 10 minutes. Wheelchair Accessible Service.   

Taxi  

The Taxi rank is located outside the Main Terminal of Dublin Airport (Arrivals level) to the right hand side. This rank is serviced well and will always have a good supply of taxis. There are often long queues but they move quickly. The average cost of a taxi to the North Star Hotel is between 18.00 Euro and 24.00 Euro. This will increase allowing for traffic delays and for larger numbers. People carrier taxis are available and can take up to 8 people. Over 20% of Dublin's taxis are wheelchair accessible.

Connolly Station

The North Star Hotel is directly opposite Connolly Station.  The station operates the following routes
Dublin - Sligo;
Dublin - Belfast;
Dublin - Rosslare Europort;
Dundalk - Dublin - Arklow;
Dublin - Maynooth - Longford;
D.A.R.T. Malahide/Howth - Greystones.

Also located here is the 90 bus which connects to Heuston Station.

Luas

Luas is a public transport tram system that operates in Dublin.  This tram system connects suburban parts of Dublin city with the city centre on two separate tramlines. These tramlines are:

• The Green Line: connecting Sandyford to St Stephen's Green in the city centre. This journey takes, approximately 22 minutes.
• The Red Line: connecting Tallaght to Connolly Station. This journey will take approximately 43 minutes.

Bus Eireann

Bus Eireann operates bus services from Dublin to the rest of Ireland. The central bus station - Busaras is located on Amiens Street.
